This one-of-a-kind coffee table tells a story rooted in the land. Made from Ash grown in the field beside my New Forest workshop, it carries the natural character of the tree and the marks of time.
In 2022, the tree succumbed to Ash Dieback—a fungal disease that slowly disrupts the tree’s water system, causing it to rot from within. The void left by the fungus has been carefully filled with copper epoxy resin, preserving its history while adding a striking visual contrast.
Finished with a high-quality, durable wax, the surface is smooth, resilient, and rich with organic detail. The live edge showcases the tree’s original contours, making each piece truly unique.
